Additional Needs Requirements

Clacton FEAR is designed to deliver an intense, immersive experience and, as such, some attractions may be physically and psychologically demanding. While we aim to make the event as accessible as possible, certain experiences may not be suitable for all visitors.

CARER TICKETS & DOCUMENTATION

Where eligible, visitors may be entitled to one free carer ticket alongside a full price admission.

We are pleased to be working with Nimbus Disability, using their Access Card Scheme to provide our visitors with access requirements a more consistent and better experience.
We will use the scheme for all customers who require support, such as an essential companion ticket. All visitors requiring the access provisions will go via Nimbus to have their access requirements validated, so we can not only provide for those reasonable adjustments but protect them from potential misuse.

ACCESS

If visiting independently, guests should speak to an attraction host at either the start or end of the queue line. A queue time estimate will be provided and guests will be invited to return at the appropriate time via the designated access point.

ATTRACTION SUITABILITY

Due to the nature of Clacton FEAR, we advise that most attractions will not be suitable for visitors with the following conditions:

Nervous disposition

Heart conditions

Pregnancy

Claustrophobia or nyctophobia

Limited mobility

Epilepsy

Some attractions may include flashing lights, loud audio effects, sudden movements, uneven flooring, smoke effects, open-air environments, and variable weather exposure.

All scare maze experiences include stairs, uneven surfaces and may involve low light conditions and close-contact environments.

If you have any concerns about whether Clacton FEAR is suitable for you or a member of your party, please email info@clactonpier.co.uk

We are happy to talk through the experiences in detail to help you make the right decision for your visit.
