Clacton FEAR is a recommended 12+ event. Due to the nature of the event, it is not recommended for anyone under the age of 12.
This recommendation is not based solely on horror elements. The event includes intense scare experiences, loud noises, adult themes, strong language, and mature content throughout the evening. Because of the overall nature of the event, it may not be suitable for younger children.
If you are under the age of 12, you must be accompanied by a full paying adult (18+) at all times throughout the entire event.
Please note: parental discretion is strongly advised. The content of Clacton FEAR is designed for a mature audience and parents or guardians should carefully consider whether it is appropriate for their child.
Guests may be asked to provide proof of age if required.

Find out how to apply for an Access Card or Clacton Pier DAP and purchase Essential Companion tickets HERE.
We are pleased to be working with Nimbus Disability, using their Access Card Scheme to provide our visitors with access requirements a more consistent and better experience.
We will use the scheme for all customers who require support, such as an essential companion wristband. All visitors requiring the access provisions will go via Nimbus to have their access requirements validated, so we can not only provide for those reasonable adjustments but protect them from potential misuse.
You will be able to submit a free application for a Digital Access Pass (DAP) via Nimbus to enable you to purchase tickets and access facilities. As part of this, you will need to provide relevant evidence so that Nimbus can allocate the symbols that represent the barriers you face. This will be valid for 3 years, so once you have applied and it’s been approved – that’s it!
